Adirondacks: I stopped along the road on the way to a short hike to take in this beautiful farm meadow with views of Whiteface Mt. in the distance. The new scars on the mountain are the result of the ski resort adding some new trails. I'm saddened by the expanded commercial use of the mountain, although the ski resort is an important part of the economy of this area.
