Catskills, NY: A perfect "first mountain" for those just starting to climb mountains over 3500' in the Catskill Mountains is this peak - Balsam Lake Mt. Views from the fire tower are spectacular. This was taken on a picture-perfect July day. Our friends Cindy and Brien were married on this day in a lovely ceremony on the summit.
