Fitz Roy Massif, Patagonia: I got up at 4:30 a.m. to get this shot. I had scouted the area around our camp the day before to find a good spot. I was able to use a small Slik tripod perched on a large boulder. I shot for a good 45 minutes, trying different settings, and liked this photo best.
