We took this poodle on his first hike recently. My friend, an avid hiker, was in the process of deciding if she wanted to keep "French Louie." She had agreed to take care of him temporarily. What an energetic animal. He took to his first hike with such enthusiasm, and yet behaved himself admirably. I am pleased to report that Louie has been officially adopted by my friend. A perfect match!
