Catskill Mountains: Overlook Mt. is a very accessible summit near Woodstock, New York. It begins as a road, passes the shell of an old mountain hotel, and then follows a well-worn trail to the top. The fire tower provides some great views of the Ashokan Reservoir, the Hudson River, and Catskill Mountain ranges. The cabin in the distance is a small museum. Shy rattlesnakes inhabit the mountaintop.
