Joanne Hihn combines her passion for photography with a love of hiking and backpacking in the wilderness, particularly in the Adirondack and Catskill Mountains of northeastern New York State.  She has created this website to share some of the special places she has visited.  Her images have been published in books, regional magazines and newspapers, and in a national online photography school blog.  Several of her photos have won awards in regional photo contests.

In addition to the photos found in these galleries, other images are displayed in her online public Picasa Photo Gallery.    

Fine art prints, calendars and other items may be purchased by visiting her online stores through American Frame and Zazzle.

New to the website is a Hiking Journal for sharing recent wilderness adventures and photos.
